Giant deer or megacerines (tribe Megacerini, family Cervidae, order Artiodactyla) dwelt con Eurasia from the Late Miocene onesto Holocene and mediante Africa durante the Late Pleistocene. Based on comparative morphological momento and morphofunctional analysis, morphogenetic and ecogenetic trends per this group are improved. Classification, taxonomy, phylogeny, and geographical and stratigraphical ranges of megacerines are revised.
